SiSoftware Sandra supports Ryzen 7000X3D

The benchmarking software has been updated to support Ryzen 7000X3D series.

The latest version (2021.12.31.117) brings further optimizations for hybrid (asymmetrical) L3 cache designs. This means that all three new Ryzen CPUs with 3D V-Cache will now be correctly recognized by the software. This also includes the third 8-core model that is to launch next month.

Sandra is a benchmark suite for CPU and GPU testing. This comprehensive tool focuses on many complex algorithms that may be considered useful for scientific work. Whether Ryzen 7000X3D is a CPU for such use, it is a different story.

The newest update also added support for more Intel Core 13th Gen series, including H, P and U mobile series. Furthermore, the CUDA SDK has been updated, which is used by built-in GPU benchmark.

The development team behind the software published their review of the 7950X3D processor. One should note that this testing is not based on their data, but rather a collection of results from other reviewers who shared the data with them. Regardless, it is still interesting to see all this data combined into one article.
